To enable all market participants to use the chances of the liberalised gas market in a fair way, the non-discriminatory use of the storage business must be warranted. For this purpose our company is subject to the supervision of the Regulatory Authority (Bundesnetzagentur).

To this effect, an appointed compliance officer delivers a report by latest 31 March of each year about the measures taken by RWE Gas Storage West for a non-discriminatory exercise of the storage business. This is done in accordance with §7a, clause 5 EnWG.
